National driving licences written in the Roman alphabet, in photocard format, and issued by a country that is a contracting party to the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic are accepted.
  • Non-Vienna Convention or Non-Roman Alphabet Licences
If the driving licence is issued by a country not part of the Vienna Convention, or is written in a non-Roman alphabet (e.g. Arabic, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese), it must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) along with the original licence.
  • Specific National Licences (e.g. USA, Canada, Australia, Israel, etc.)
Driving licences from countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Bolivia are accepted, provided they are:
    • valid
    • presented in original physical format
    • accompanied by an official translation in Greek or English if not already in English or if non-standard characters are used

The translation must be certified by a public authority or notary.

Minimum Licence Holding Period:

All drivers must have held a valid driving licence for at least 1 full year prior to the rental date.

If the issue date is not clearly shown on the licence, additional documentation may be required to prove the required driving experience.
